2 - Reflection on Webbing Process - April 7
1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because....
-It opened up my mind to things I could do this project on.
3 - Why I Chose This Topic and What I Know About My Topic - April 7
1. Topic: Cold War
2. Why you chose it: Lots of information and intresting subject
3. What you already know about your topic: Russia (known then as the Soviet Union or the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) and the United States had a long "war" in which the two countries spyed on each other. This time included lots of confusion as to what was happening and nuclear threats. One of these threats includes the Cuban Missle Crisis. It is called the Cold War because there was actually no invasions or fighting. Just threats and arguments. Ronald Reagan helped end this war by encouraging Mr. Gorbichav to "...tear down this wall." Referring to the Berlin Wall which was the boarder between communism and democracy. Eventually, this wall was torn down under the George H.W. Bush administration in 1991 thus marking the fall of the Soviet Empire and the end of the Cold War.
